Collector Shoreline Sangiovese Rosé is an award-winning Australian Rosé. The wine is fresh on the nose with aromas of mandarin, cherry, rosé-water and spice.  The palate is crisp, with moreish mid-palate texture and mouth-watering activity.  Great for seasonal drinking with antipasti!

With a light pink colour, this wine offers a gentle balance between acidulated aromas with notes of white blossom and small red fruit like raspberry and redcurrant. Its fine bubbles promise a delightful roundness in the mouth, which reveals all the subtlety of Pinot Noir. Underscored by a pleasant vivacity and sustained fruit, Perle d'Aurore is a delicate Crémant de Bourgogne that can be drunk in any circumstances. 

An ascent of (textbook) grenadine fruits – Avec raspberry, redcurrant, blackcurrant and strawberry. Sans pomegranate. And the citrus - pink grapefruit / mandarin marmalade. And the florals/confiserie – scents of Anis de Flavigny Violet Pastiles or Violets of Toulouse; lily. Upon sitting – wafts of cherry jam, sorry confiture. PALATE Inviting, exotic. Balanced, with an overt freshness - crispness up-front, and a delicate dosage imprint on finish. Relaxed acidity, friendly effervescence. Subtle mandarin and raspberry fruits impact immediately – over a flavour base of strawberry with pepper / Turkish Delight with pistachio. Stylistically light on its feet and sprightly … its ‘Champagne character’ teasingly revealed upon sitting. Impatience? A second glass immediately beckons.

Our house dares fantasy and brings a touch of color to a range renowned for generations for its Blanc de Blancs champagnes. Don’t worry, you will find in this wine the Pierre Gimonnet et Fils signature, drawn by purity, freshness and elegance. How to make a rosé without changing our style? In fact, this wine is mostly vinified with chardonnay and a hints of pinot noir to give a light pink colour and to add berries fresh fruit flavours. That means, this cuvée looks like a “Blanc de Blancs” but it’s not one. The cuvee is the same blend as Gastronome cuvee (Grand Cru and 1er Cru blending) with “red wine” from Bouzy Grand Cru in champagne. A very crispy champagne !
